Administrative Coordinator in a busy outpatient physical therapy clinic. Responsible to cover the front desk, greeting patients, collecting co-payments and deductibles, scheduling and facilitating appointments (both in-person and via telehealth), answering phones, and communicating with insurance companies and doctors' offices regarding coordination of benefits, referrals, and authorizations.

Essential Functions:
  • 55% Coordinate with insurance companies and doctors' offices to obtain referrals and authorizations and check patient benefits
  • 25% Greet patients, answer phones, schedule and facilitate appointments (in-person and telehealth), collect patient payments, and scanning projects.
  • 5% Manage medical record inquiries.
  • 5% Assist in supervision and training of student employees.
  • 10% Other duties as assigned including claims and patient and insurance billing.

Required Skills
  • Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience.
